The Building Safety Act has fundamentally changed the expectations placed upon the Rental LivingÌýSector. The Building Safety Regulator will no longer measure success by compliance alone. Instead, the focus has shifted to competence – the capability of individuals and organisations to understand,ÌýapplyÌýand evidence the right decisions at every stage of the building lifecycle.

We also consider the topic of building safety in the context of the Grenfell Tower Phase 2 Inquiry Report, the Government’s response and how these affect the Rental Living Sector.
