Study Tour:
Investment in BTR in Scotland

Scotland is open for business! Discover the opportunity on the ARL Scotland Study Tour.

Focus on two cities: Edinburgh and Glasgow
4 and 5 February 2026

IN ASSOCIATION WITH THE SCOTTISH PROPERTY FEDERATION

On the 4th and 5th February, the ARL Scotland Study Tour retured to Edinburgh and Glasgow with a special focus on investment in BTR.

Always a popular Study Tour, the 2026 ARL Scotland Study Tour, sponsored by Yardi, not only visited a selection of open and operational schemes but also included an exclusive roundtable for BTR investors with the Cabinet Secretary for Housing and direct discussion with senior officials from Glasgow and Edinburgh City Councils on the investment opportunities for BTR in Scotland.

With the passing of the Housing (Scotland) Act into law on 6 November 2025, giving clarity over rent control exemptions for Build to Rent in Scotland, conditions for investment in BTR in Scotland have improved. Bidwells estimates this could unlock the development of 11,000 new rental homes in Scotland. Don’t miss out on this superb event, only from the ARL, offering firsthand insights into the market opportunities and see operational best practice in person. Ìý
