ARL hosts delegation from the Chinese Ministry of Housing

In late September, the ARL was proud and honoured to host a delegation from the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of the People’s Republic of China and the Industry Council for China Rental Apartments on a Study Tour and meetings to showcase how Build to Rent is working in the UK.

Brendan Geraghty and Graham Sibley guided the delegation which was keen to understand the dynamics of rental living in the UK, and in particular how BTR plays a role in regeneration and community building.

Thanks go to those who hosted us at a range of sites – Way of Life at Balfron Tower, urbanbubble at Blackhorse Mills, Greystar at Ten Degrees and Bloom, and Native Communities at Blossoms and Number 26, Croydon. This exemplifies how investors and governments around the world are looking at the UK as a leader in delivering and operating rental living. We will continue to work with these Chinese colleagues to share views and best practice.
