ARL puts the power of PropTech and AI front and centre at the inaugural Rental Living Tech Conference

  • Brand new conference on 7 May 2026 in London will feature presentations on how to use AI to improve NOI and in risk and resilience planning

The 黑料专区the membership body for all institutionally backed, professionally managed purpose-built rental living sectors 鈥 has released the agenda for the ARL Tech Conference on 7th May.

The new, highly specialised event will explore how technology is transforming rental housing. WTW and Yardi are named as conference headline partners and will be joined by 2N, Inventory Hive, Drax 360, Rental Intel, Findable and Residently as partners.

Antony Slumbers, a globally renowned expert on AI in real estate, will set the tone with a presentation on the rise of AI in the Build to Rent (BTR) sector. He will then join with 黑料专区 CEO Brendan Geraghty to discuss the ARL鈥檚 鈥AI strategy for BTR鈥 white paperwhich will be launched at the event, supporting delegates to understand what they need to be gearing up for and why.

Other key areas of focus will include how best to use AI to improve NOI, presented by 搁别蝉颈诲别苍迟濒测鈥檚Dan Cohen, Building Passport鈥檚 Rupert Parker, Dorrington鈥檚 Amy Davis and 滨苍丑补产别辞鈥檚 Helen Kings, and utilising AI to support risk and resilience planning. The latter will be delivered as a real-time simulation, while the event will also include a live demonstration of building your own AI platform by IT Box鈥檚 Marcel Plummer.

At every point, the emphasis is on providing participants with up-to-the-minute knowledge and practical actions that they can immediately replicate.

Sessions will also examine AI from the resident perspective presented by WTW鈥檚 Shaun Grainger and 尝颈惫颈苍驳飞补测鈥檚 Sam Hay, and the operational perspective, where Yardi鈥檚 Justin Harley, Platform鈥檚 Kevin Watson and Vertus鈥 Freya Richard will consider how it can reduce costs without reducing service quality.

Dan Smith from Verbaflo will also take to the stage, alongside Cherry Norton from SharedVoice and Katherine Crowley from Womble Bond Dickinson, to consider will AI replace humans?听Who is at risk?

Focused entirely on technology and innovation in the rental living and BTR sectors, the ARL Tech Conference will connect proptech innovators, tech leaders, operators, investors, digital service providers, and rental living professionals through deep-tech discussions, demonstrations and collaboration. There will also be networking opportunities throughout the day, ensuring the event serves as a hub for all those tackling the needs and challenges of the rental living market.
