ARL response to today鈥檚 announcement of the proposed New Town locations
The ARL welcomes today鈥檚 announcement of the proposed New Town locations as an encouraging step in delivering new homes that are in such great demand.
In line with the New Towns Taskforce鈥檚 Report recommendation that new towns should provide a diverse range of high-quality housing, with a range of housing types and tenures to suit the needs of a balanced community, we continue to strongly advocate for the explicit inclusion of Build to Rent homes within the seven proposed locations.
The ARL will, on behalf of our members, submit the case for Build to Rent as critical to the creation of these proposed large-scale new communities to the which is now open.
