ARL & TPI webinar focuses on the Value of Qualifications in BTR
The value of qualifications in BTR was in the spotlight last week in a special webinar from the Joint ARL / TPI Qualifications Committee. The Developing Talent webinar, led by Jo Green, Chair of the Committee and joined by Russell Markou of Cortland, Ian Fletcher of TPI and Leanne Hargreaves of Grainger, discussed the development and content of the ARL/TPI Training and Qualifications committee to date.
The session asked a BTR qualification graduate about their experience and the personal benefits of a qualification pathway as well considering as the role of qualifications within the shift from compliance to competence, as set against the Building Safety Act landscape, and the importance of being embedded within the Rental Living Code of Practice. The discussion closed by looking at how to remove barriers to achieving sector wide qualification and outlining steps to establish a best practice qualification pathway.
