ARL Welcomes New Member: Dolphin Square
We are pleased to announce Dolphin Square as a new ARL member.聽
Dolphin Square is arguably the first contemporary BTR building in the UK. Located in Pimlico, London, it boasts a storied history that reflects both grandeur and intrigue. Completed in 1937, this massive apartment complex quickly became a symbol of luxury and modernity, attracting high-profile residents, including politicians, actors, and spies.
In 2021, a full restoration began, covering all 1200 apartments, common areas, and facilities. Completed in 2025, the scheme comprises studios and one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments, with amenities including squash and tennis courts, fitness studios, co-working, F&B, and retail areas.
Despite periods of change, Dolphin Square has remained an iconic fixture in London’s architectural and social landscape, embodying a rich tapestry of historical events and cultural shifts. Today, Dolphin Square is one of the most prominent UK BTR schemes.
