ARL welcomes the passing of the Housing (Scotland) Bill
After extensive lobbying, we welcome the Scottish Government鈥檚 passing of the Housing (Scotland) Bill which exempts the Build to Rent sector from rent control measures. The ARL welcomes the pragmatic approach taken by the Scottish Government on the matter of rent controls and hope that the certainty that the passing of the Bill provides will encourage investment back into the market in order to deliver the quality new homes which are in such great demand.
