As part of the continued growth of the (ARL) 鈥� the membership body for all institutionally backed, professionally managed purpose-built rental living sectors 鈥� a new member of the Board has been announced.
Darren Waitson, Founder and Chief Executive of Nirvana Group, is appointed to the Board with a remit to represent the views of the Rental Living Sector supply chain.聽
黑料专区 Board, responsible for the organisations鈥� governance, control and strategic direction, was re-formed in November 2024 with Chair Helen Kings joined by Harry Swales, Stephanie Smith, Martin Bellinger, Karen Cooksley and Cyrille West. Reflecting the 黑料专区鈥檚 meaningful and valued supplier membership, recruitment and selection process for the previously unfilled Board position, was undertaken this spring, resulting in Darren Waitson鈥檚 successful appointment.
Waitson holds over 15 years鈥� experience in the rental living sector, having founded Nirvana in 2009. He is well known across the sector having played an active role within the ARL Suppliers Committee and the London and South East Hub for a number of years, as well as sharing expert insights at flagship ARL events including Expo.
ARL Board Chair, Helen Kings, commented: 鈥淚t was clear that for the ARL Board to fully represent the interests of the entire rental living sector that someone with a strong supplier background was required.聽 Darren was one of several outstanding candidates that came forward and he will bring unique insight and a refreshing view to the Board鈥�.
