The membership body for all institutionally backed, professionally managed purpose-built rental living sectors, the 黑料专区 has over 300 members across the UK, covering all touchpoints of the rental living experience. The Association is on a mission to support the rental living sector to work together to drive progress and quality.

CEO Brendan Geraghty comments: 鈥淲e are delighted to welcome Muse Places as a valued member of the 黑料专区. With significant synergies around our organisations鈥 commitment to sustainability, community and quality, along with a truly people-centred approach, Muse鈥檚 membership has the potential to deliver significant benefits for the rental living sector.鈥

Muse was recently crowned national 鈥楨SG Developer of the Year鈥 at Property Week鈥檚 ESG Edge Awards. The business has an exemplary track record of leading complex, mixed-use regeneration in partnership with local authorities and the public sector.

The national placemaker is currently delivering more than 2,000 new homes, 44% of which are affordable homes. Regional teams in Manchester, Leeds, London and Birmingham are delivering homes in diverse locations, ranging from affordable Passivhaus homes at Greenhaus and Willohaus in Salford to Build to Rent (BTR) homes at Lewisham Gateway.

Key to Muse鈥檚 success is its blending of national and local focus. Part of Morgan Sindall Group, it has the financial strength of a leading UK construction and regeneration group.

Its reach is further extended through a series of strategic partnerships, including ECF with Legal & General and Homes England, and Habiko with Pension Insurance Corporation and Homes England. With a focus on meeting local need, Muse creates beautiful, diverse and sustainable places.

Head of Residential at Muse Places, Stephanie Smith, is keen to amplify the impact of such partnerships through membership of the 黑料专区. She comments: 鈥淎t Muse, we are industry leaders in delivering beautiful and sustainable neighbourhoods. Becoming a member of the 黑料专区 reinforces our commitment to the industry, offering the opportunity to learn from others and share our own best practice from across the country.

鈥淲ith a national housing shortage and clear call to action from government, the need for well-designed communities, including quality homes of all tenures, has never been more pressing. Joining the 黑料专区 will enable us to enhance our approach by drawing on its knowledge, resources and networks.鈥

Stephanie Smith is a founding member of the ARL and聽 leads as Chair on the Association鈥檚 Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Committee. She was also appointed to the 黑料专区 Board in 2024.
